hi, Erin and Feryln and Amy!!! Are any of you at home?

using 2 times tables to solve 4 times tables.

I was learning to use my 2 times tables to solve 4 times tables. An example of this is: 4x12= 48. I solved it by making it into 2x12, which of course is 24, then I x2 on that, so the answer is 48. It is a strategy I would use again. I got one question wrong, which is 44x4. I did 2x44, which is 88, but I got the next part wrong. I did x2 which I wrote as 116. The real answer is 176, but I see where I went wrong. I should of done 80 + 80, 160, and then 8 + 8 = 16, then add them together, which is 176. I might need a little more practise on the bigger numbers, but I will probably pick it up very quick.

Hello!!!! At my house, we have had a HUGE clean up. Ware going to play a game soon. Elliot is playing on Reading eggs. I really miss you!! When are you coming back??? I think that you are going to miss the school play, which is annoying because I can't watch it with you!! The weather today is cloudy. Every other day I wrote to you it,s been sunny! miss you!!!!

Hi!!! At school, we are doing our pick a path. And, as you can imagine, we are all about  the school play now! You are sooo lucky that you get to go to the - well, EVER THING, really!!!!! Oh and we are going to put the pick a path on our Blog, so you can see mine!! I am going to send  a photo of what the weather looks like now, so you know. MATHS
I think that some times I say to myself "This is tricky. To hard. I can't do this!!!!" and then I give up on myself thinking "I'm totally bad at maths!!!" I don't like to believe it, but I know it's true. It doesn't help either when  people say "I'm BRILLANT at maths", because it makes me think "if they're good at maths it must mean I'm bad." But when I work out a problem, I think "this is soooo easy!!!" and then I feel like I can under stand every thing in the univers!!!

WRITING
I am extremely confident in writing. I don't need to say much for this, because I know that you, Mrs Ackerman, know I LOVE writing.

READING
I am very fast at reading and love it lots. I am reading the Harry Potter books, but that doesn't mean I don't get stuck on words. I like learning new words, so every so often I ask my mum what a word means that I have read in books.

ART
I love art, but an weird creative sort. I wouldn't say I am amazing at art. I just injoy drawing what ever weird idea pops into my head.

hi!!! I am bored so I thought I would write this. Just a reminder of what's happning at my house. The boys ( my brothers, but I call them "the boys" ) are playing star wars, (as ussal) and are pretending that the death star's nearly  blowen up or something. I am reading a book called "totally twins, Musical Mayhem" . Ever heard of it?

Hi, Erin!!!!! I'm sorry I havn't been writing!!! Are you awake? In school, we are doing a pick a path story. I really miss you. Oh, by the way, I am very jealous that you get to go to the London eye and Buckingham palace!!!!!! I am also very sorry that I didn't Blog you on holiday! I was a bit busy withal the excitement, and I am very surprised that you could do it with all the excitement!! By the way, Niamh says hi!!
